The City

Taxis
Taxi stands are located at the airport, as well as most hotels, attractions and shopping centers. From the Ronald Reagan National Airport to the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, fares are approximately $14-18*. From the Washington Dulles International Airport, the fare is $60-80* to the hotel. From the Baltimore Washington International Airport, expect to pay $63*.
SuperShuttle
Shuttle stands are located at the airport, as well as most hotels, attractions and shopping centers. From the Ronald Reagan National Airport to the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, fares are approximately $13* one-way. From the Washington Dulles International Airport, the fare is $26* one-way . From the Baltimore Washington International Airport, expect to pay $31* one-way. Upon arrival at the airport, follow the signs for Ground Transportation to SuperShuttle.
Metro
The Metro train operates Monday through Thursday from 5:00 am to midnight; Friday until 3:00 am; Saturdays from 7:00 am to 3:00 am; and Sunday from 7:00 am to midnight. Base fares start at $1.65* per trip (including trips between all downtown points), but the rates are higher for visitors traveling from the suburbs and during rush hour. The maximum one-way fare is $4.50*. You can purchase a one-day ticket for $7.80*, which allows you to ride as many times as you'd like after 9:30 am on weekdays and all day on weekends. The Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill is approximately three blocks from Union Station/Amtrak. If you wish to take a cab from Union Station to the hotel, the fare is approximately $5.50 with possible surcharges.*
