SITC Leaders Publish Special Report on Adoptive Cell Therapy with Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocytes
SITC leaders played a key role in developing a White Paper on Adoptive Cell Therapy for Cancer with Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocytes: A Report of the CTEP Subcommittee on Adoptive Cell Therapy. On behalf of the Immunotherapy Task Force of the NCI Investigational Drug Steering Committee, Jeffrey Weber, Michael Atkins, Patrick Hwu, Laszlo Radvanyi, Mario Sznol and Cassian Yee prepared the report, which appeared in the April 2011 issue of Clinical Cancer Research. Update on the Cancer Immunotherapy Trials Network (CITN)
The NCI has selected 27 member sites in US and Canada to participate in the CITN. Many are SITC members. In May CITN Member Site PIs will meet at the NIH to finalize selection criteria for proposals for immunotherapy trials to be conducted with the CITN and to discuss ideas and form concept working groups to propose and review CITN concepts.
