Late-Breaking Abstracts

iSBTc is committed to featuring the most cutting-edge science and is pleased to announce the acceptance of late-breaking abstracts for the iSBTc 25th Anniversary Annual Meeting.  Submission is available July 19 -August 16, 2010 by clicking the "Submit" button above.

Abstract Categories

Late-breaking abstracts will be submitted in the late-breaking category.

Please note: there is a 3,000 character limit for your abstract submission. Title, authors, institutions, abstract body, spaces, tables, and images are included in this count.
 

Guidelines for Contact Authors

Authors submitting abstracts to the iSBTc 25th Annual Meeting must agree to the following:

  • Serve as the contact author for all correspondence about the abstract and inform co-authors about its status
  • Confirm all authors are aware of and agree to the content and data presented in the abstract
  • Verify the abstract is accurate and that permission has been obtained from all relevant parties
  • Verify the data presented in the abstract has not been published prior to the iSBTc 25th Annual Meeting
  • Agree that abstracts submitted to the iSBTc 25th Annual Meeting are embargoed until September 23, 2010
  • Agree that if accepted, they or a co-author will present the abstract at the iSBTc 25th Annual Meeting

Abstracts cannot be withdrawn after June 21, 2010.

Submitting an abstract for the 25th Annual Meeting does not constitute registration for the conference. Abstract presenters must register to attend the iSBTc Annual Meeting by completing the registration form.
 

Deadline for Submission

Late-breaking abstract submission for the iSBTc 25th Anniversary Annual Meeting begins Monday, July 19, 2010.  The deadline for late-breaking submissions is Monday, August 16, 2010 at 11:59pm PT.

The deadline for regular abstract submission was June 21, 2010.
 

Publication / Embargo Dates

Late-breaking abstracts submitted by August 16, 2010 will be printed in the iSBTc Poster Abstract Book and are embargoed until September 23, 2010.  Abstracts which were submitted by the regular abstract submission deadline of June 21, 2010 will be published in the October issue of Journal of Immunotherapy, the official journal of iSBTc. This issue will be released on September 23, 2010. All abstracts submitted to the 25th Annual Meeting are embargoed until September 23, 2010.
 

Abstract Notifications

Notifications for late-breaking abstracts will be sent via email on September 1, 2010.  Notifications for regular abstracts will be sent to the contact authors via email on July 22, 2010.
 

Poster Size

Poster display size is 1 meter x 1 meter (3.3 feet by 3.3 feet). Oversized posters will not be allowed. Poster size has been reduced from previous years to allow presenters equal presentation time.
 

Young Investigator Abstract Awards

The deadline for applying for the 2010 Young Investigator Awards was June 21, 2010.

iSBTc promotes growth and achievement among young investigators in the field of cancer biologics. To this end, iSBTc offers several Young Investigator Awards recognizing excellence in oral abstract and poster presentations each year at the Annual Meeting.
